THE BRIEF
Who steals a necklace
and then sends it back?
Gala night at Sonargarh House, Jaipur. The Suryataara is shown in public for the first time in fifty-four years, days before the auction meant to save the estate. During the fireworks the power and the cameras go out together for nine minutes.
The case is found open and empty, with no forced entry. Three days later the necklace arrives back by courier with no sender, and you are the insurer's assessor with twelve days.
